Care Instructions:
Before first use, clean the cutting board in soapy water. Initially, the oil may extract some coloring matter, potentially leaving stains on a light surface.
Gently clean with warm soapy water. Not dishwasher safe. Regularly treat the wood with an oil, such as worktop oil, to maintain its glow and resistance.
When unwrapping a new cutting board, it may appear stained and greasy. The greasy look is due to the oil finish applied before wrapping, and the stains are accumulations of coloring matter that will disappear with exposure to light and air.
